Cape Elizabeth School Department receives funding through the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965. Applications for funding are approved annually by the Maine Department of Education (MDOE). In accordance with ESEA, Cape Elizabeth School Department is required to provide reasonable opportunity for public comment on the consolidated application and consider such comment prior to submission of the application. Cape Elizabeth School Department is accepting public comment on the ESEA application through July 17, 2024 by 3:00 pm.  The ESEA application is located on the Cape Elizabeth School Department website. The public’s engagement in our grant application process is important, encouraged and appreciated.
